What is ReStore?
Habitat for Humanity operates a social enterprise called ReStore that sells donated home furnishings, appliances, and other renovation materials to the public at a discounted rate. The first ReStore in Canada was opened in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1991, and since then, has expanded to hundreds of locations across Canada and the United States, and a thousand locations worldwide.
Every Habitat ReStore is different, offering a unique shopping experience for those looking to add something new to their homes. The inventory is always changing as new items are donated by local residents and businesses daily. Consumers can expect to find an exciting wide assortment of items including windows, lighting, hardware, appliances, furniture and more!
All proceeds help families gain access to affordable home ownership through Habitat for Humanity.
