Habitat for Humanity Camrose is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Executive Director to lead our organization in building affordable homes and stronger communities. This is a rare opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of families and the future of our region.

About the Role:

The Executive Director (ED) is the chief staff leader, responsible for the overall management, fundraising, and operational excellence of Habitat for Humanity Camrose. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED ensures the organization remains financially sound, ethically governed, and aligned with Camrose’s Habitat for Humanity’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

· • Provide operational leadership and demonstrated positive staff engagement for the affiliate and its ReStore.

· • Represent Habitat Camrose to the public, stakeholders, donors, and partners.

· • Oversee fundraising strategies and grant development.

· • Manage budgets, financial reporting, agendas and organizational compliance.

· • Support and work closely with and for the Board of Directors.

· • Ensure excellence in construction, volunteer engagement, and support programs.

Qualifications:

· • Proven leadership experience and knowledge of non profit Board governance and processes.

· • Strong skills in fundraising, operational planning, and people management.

· • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets over $500,000, with experience in the application of mortgages.

· • Exceptional communication and community engagement skills.

• Knowledge of affordable housing and the processes of the assembly and acquisition of of land, property development and maintenance is an asset.

· • A diploma, degree or certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution or a combination of relevant education and equivalent professional experience
